This project combines FortiGate office network setup, QNAP NAS file storage and CCTV recording workflow inside one office infrastructure implementation. Instead of treating network, storage and surveillance as separate jobs, the office was planned as one connected IT environment where internet, LAN users, shared folders, NAS storage, camera recording and monitoring work together from the same secured office setup.
The office needed one reliable infrastructure foundation instead of separate unmanaged systems for internet, file storage and CCTV. Without a controlled firewall, shared NAS access and proper camera recording workflow, users may face network confusion, scattered files, weak access control, storage duplication and difficulty reviewing office security footage.
A combined office IT setup was prepared with FortiGate firewall for network security, switches and cabling for stable workstation connectivity, QNAP NAS for centralised shared folders and CCTV recording integration, plus monitoring access for office camera review.
